Director
As a collaborative partner both on campus and within the community, I assume a pivotal role as a Director, providing expertise on issues and barriers that impact the diverse spectrum of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual/aromantic (LGBTQIA+) communities. In this capacity, I offer valuable insights and serve as a thought leader and partner on national best practices, identify barriers to access, and contribute to the formulation of inclusive policies and metrics informed by student learning outcomes and success. My position at the University of Utah plays a significant role not only in prioritizing student support and belonging but also in driving the broader university towards a culture of inclusion for all.
LGBT Center Case Western Reserve University
Director
Provided direction and strategic vision to not only the Case Western University LGBT Center, but also advised the Vice President for Student Affairs and senior University leadership on best practices for serving our LGBTQ community on campus. Contributes to the overall recruitment and retention goals of the university by creating a targeted recruitment and retention plan for LGBTQ students at Case Western Reserve University. Oversees and directs all programming the Center does throughout the year.
University of Missouri of St. Louis
LGBTQ+ Coordinator
Directed and developed all LGBTQ+ programming and initiatives at the university. Served as the primary point of contact for all LGBTQ+ programs at the university. Chaired the university’s LGBTQ+ Advisory Board. Also worked on specific diversity programs and campus-wide initiatives. Collaborated closely with other units and departments on campus to plan and execute strategic goals specifically in LGBTQ+ and diversity outlined by the University of Missouri system.
Human Rights Campaign
Field Organizer
Directed field education, awareness, and advocacy activities and initiatives for the nation’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve LGBTQ equality. Collaborated within all organizational levels to identify current needs and develop campaigns and resources that address each unique need.
